My heartfelt thanks

ON January 21 at Hazlemere Park Parade, I was walking to meet my husband in the Co-Op when I came over all unnecessary. As I was leaning against the wall, walking stick in hand, a lot of people passed me, some looked at me, others ignored me.

Then a very kind lady stopped and asked if I was alright. She went into Childs toy shop and arranged for a chair for me then armed with my husband’s description went into the Co-Op, sought him out, and explained where I was.

My thanks goes to the lady in Childs who supplied the chair and offered water even though I was drooping in the chair, hardly a good advert for the shop. My thanks also go to the supervisor in the Co-Op who put the trolley with our shopping in out of the way. My heartfelt and sincere thanks go to the lady who stopped to help me.

I didn’t think to ask your name, but you know who you are. Thank you and God bless.

Jenny Holmes, Cryers Hill, High Wycombe.
