THE recent announcement by The Department of Transport of the preferred route for a high speed rail line that bisects the Misbourne Valley is the subject of intense local concern.
Local councillors have therefore arranged a public meeting to be held on 29th March at 19.30 at Misbourne School at which information will be provided by guest speakers that include our MP where local concerns and options can be explored.
I will be grateful if you will publish this letter so that local residents are aware of the meeting.
