Hospital was so good

I WAS recently recalled by Wycombe Hospital for a second mammogram, which resulted in a diagnosis of breast cancer.

The speed of the hospital meant that 21 days from diagnosis and resulting surgery, I was given the all-clear.

You would not get this treatment if you were a private patient, and my grateful thanks goes to Mr Ahmed and his team, also the breast cancer nurse Christina and all the staff at the breast screening unit who were so kind to me. Wycombe Hospital has its critics but I cannot fault them.

When I needed help, it was there.
