HOW good to know someone remembers the Cadena Hall on Frogmoor. My sister and I used to frequent there on Sunday afternoons to ‘bop’ to jazz bands such as Humphrey Lyttleton, Mick Mulligan with George Melly and Kenny Ball I believe.
This was in the early 50s and we still, even now, enjoy rock and roll. The entrance alleyway was next door to Pops newsagent – such wonderful times.
