WHAT do these have in common: Bucks NHS Watchdog; Bucks Local Involvement Network; NHS Board; Wycombe NHS Primary Care Trust; LINk; Bucks County Council Health Watchdog; Bucks Hospitals NHS Trust; Hospital Chiefs [whatever that means]; Unison; South Bucks District Council?

They are all mentioned in your report BFP 09/07/10, page 4. Is it any wonder there’s no money in Bucks NHS?

In addition I have also just experienced the ‘local accident/Stoke Mandeville transfer trauma’ and can well understand why HW Hospital [HWH] staff don’t necessarily wish to transfer.

If you live in Wycombe and walk/take a 10-15 minute bus ride to work, should you really be expected to endure a 30-45 [longer] minute bus ride? HWH nursing staff and the like you have my sympathies.

To you so called managers - get real. Start running the Bucks NHS as a company, not your private fiefdom. A fully functioning HWH and Stoke Mandeville is fully feasible.
