WYCOMBE District Council have decided that no-one is allowed to complain about their beloved stadium project because it ‘affects a majority of residents.’

In response to a complaint about the council never mentioning London Wasps or WWFC in the same breath as the Stadium but instead using images of hockey and kids to mislead the public, Duncan McCorquodale, Spatial Planning Manager at WDC, wrote: “The stadium plan is an issue which affects all of the council’s residents and is therefore excluded from our complaints procedure. I would draw your attention to the final paragraph on page six of the ‘Have We Got It Right’ leaflet”

And indeed, with logic even Franz Kafka would surely have judged too absurd, the council’s leaflet says: “Policies or decisions which affect all or most of the council’s residents are excluded from our complaints process, but you may wish to contact your local councillor about these issues.”

So, nine out of ten people say they are not satisfied with the information provided by the council but WDC say we are not allowed to complain because it affects too many people.

Will nobody save us from these arrogant bureaucrats?
