4 x 4 driver was hero during snow chaos

MY partner and I would like to pass on a big thank you to Dan who kindly stopped in the early hours of Sunday morning and drove us all the way home from Amersham Road to Hazlemere.

Dan and his 4 by 4 had been called out by a friend who needed a lift home in the early hours and due to the snow he had been driving up and down the road many times to and from the town centre offering passers-by a lift home.

We had been out in London for my partner’s birthday and, whilst the walk home in the snow was beautiful, Dan’s generosity in driving us home that night showed us and many others that there are still good, kind-hearted people around who will give up their time (and sleep) to help others.

I would really appreciate it if you could pass on this message of thanks in your next issue.
