It's rubbish for cyclists

THE local authority surely deserves some kind of bouquet for its sterling efforts to discourage recycling, encourage fly-tipping and spurn Cameron’s green credentials. You don’t agree? Try taking waste to Chesham tip on a bicycle. Fuel-free pedal power is not allowed.

You must bring the rubbish in a car. Oh, and don’t cycle out under the gaze of CCTV cameras, walk. Otherwise, the jobsworth whippersnapper will catch it in the neck, not you.

It was the same at the High Heavens dump for Wycombe. Although there is a 'stick man' painted on pavement leading into the dump you are forbidden to enter on foot by a different sign. So if you walk, get a bus or cycle there you are not allowed in. This is supposedly because of health and safety but once you drive in you are free to walk about! It's RUBBISH!
