PONY and trap racing incidents took place over the weekend causing disruptions to drivers.
The Amersham Neighbourhood Police received a report of illegal horse racing on the A413 road in Chalfont St Peter.
This road in particular is a hotspot for pony and trap racing as previously reported in the Free Press.
On one occasion, police enforced a disposal order telling 200 people to leave the A413 road after they attended an illegal racing event on Sunday, April 2.
This Sunday, January 28, Thames Valley Police engaged with the organisers to "prevent any disorder, public safety issues and any animal welfare issues."
Police said: "Thank you for understanding the complexity of such events on how to reduce its impact on the local community."
