RENNIE, Robert Alexander 3rd August, 1920 - 5th December, 2008. Passed on peacefully in his sleep on the 5th December, after an illness met with typical strength, courage and fortitude. Loved, trusted, respected and missed by his wife Joan, sons Craig and David; daughters-in-law Linda and Wendy; grandchildren Sarah, James, Robert, Nicholas and Callum, as well as by everyone who had the pleasure to know him. A gentleman and a fighter to the end. May you now rest in peace and be free of pain. Funeral service will take place in the Hampden Chapel, Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham at 9.30am on Monday, 15th December. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired may be made to the Stroke Association, and may be sent to H.C. Grimstead, Funeral Directors, Tilbury House, Shepherds Lane, Beaconsfield.
