Valerie Dickinson Lately teacher at Stokenchurch Primary School, passed away peacefully on 20th March 2019 after a long illness borne with grace and bravery. Beloved mother and wife she will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts and memories. Funeral service will be held at the Hampden Chapel, Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham on Friday 5th April 2019 at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired for Florence Nightingale Hospice and Nuffield Ortho Centre Appeal to be sent c/o Surman & Horwood Funeral Service 25 High Street, Princes Risborough, Bucks HP27 0AE.

We were so sad as a family to hear of the passing of Mrs Dickinson. She taught both our sons at both Slade Road and George Road Stokenchurch sites, and was most definitely a favourite with them and us. She made a lasting and very favourable impression on us all and is spoken of fondly to this day. We may be thousands of miles away now in Australia but we will be thinking of Mrs Dickinson tonight when we are all together. We will raise a glass.
