NOTICE OF MAKING OF THE CHILTERN DISTRICT COUNCIL OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES AMENDMENT (No. 3) ORDER 2019

The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 SI 1996 No. 2489 and Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chiltern District Council has made the Chiltern District Council Off-Street Parking Places Amendment (No.3) Order 2019 which provides as follows:

1 The Chiltern District Council Off-Street Parking Places Amendment (No.3) Order 2019 ("the Amendment Order") is supplemental to and amends the Chiltern District Council Off-Street Parking Places Order 2013 ("the Order").



2 Save as amended by the Amendment Order the Order remains in full force and effect.



3 The general nature and effect of the Amendment Order is as follows:



i. Increase the 'over 4 hour' tariff on Albany Place car park from E3.60 to E4.00.



ii. Reserve the right to permit Class 6 vehicles (passenger carrying vehicles with a capacity of over 12 seats) to park in any short stay/long stay car park.



iii. Reserve the right to permit Class 7 vehicles (electric vehicles) to recharge in any short stay/long stay car parks.



iv. Remove the list of the number of designated disabled bays in the Order to increase the flexibility to amend the number of bays in the car parks.



The up to one hour charge on the following car parks is not currently collected:

Blizzards Yard / Buryfield / Church Lane / High Street / Snells Wood

The Amendment Order shall come into effect on 1 April 2019

A sealed copy of the Amendment Order and relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours at the Council Offices, King George V Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP6 5AW.

If you wish to challenge the validity of the Amendment Order you may apply to the High Court within six weeks of the date of the Amendment Order is made.
