An ANGRY resident wants a layby to be removed on the Bath Road claiming taxi drivers are using it as a 'bathroom break'.

A petition has been sent to Buckinghamshire Council demanding the layby on the A4 in Taplow, Buckinghamshire to be removed due to ongoing issues.

The online petition, which was submitted on Tuesday, August 23, claims lorry drivers are causing a nuisance overnight and during the day.

They claim it is affecting their parents home and the residents who live next door to them.

It says: "On numerous occasions, lorries park there day and night and cause unnecessary disturbances - the loud noises as they park there overnight or during the day so that the driver can get rest. There have been a few occasions where lorries have blocked our driveway."

More shockingly, the petition claims how 'taxi drivers' were seen urinating on the residents lawn.

Adding: "We have caught several taxi drivers who use this as a 'bathroom break' point. Drivers litter here also. This is unacceptable. Our neighbour has experienced similar problems.

"This is bizarre as this is the only point along Bath Road that has lay by parking. I would like the council to look into this and request residents along the lay-by parking area to sign this petition and have this lay-by parking removed."

Buckinghamshire Council said they do not comment on live petitions until they receive all signatures.

The closing date for the petition is September 20. Click here to view the petition.
