A COVID vaccination centre has closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.

The Guttman Centre site in Stoke Mandeville will not longer be providing NHS Covid vaccines, it has been announced.

NHS Buckinghamshire posted on social media earlier today (October 27).

They wrote: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will no longer be providing an NHS Covid vaccine service at the Guttmann Centre. Anyone who has a booked appointment will be contacted by text or phone to reschedule and has our apologies."

Residents who have booked an appointment will be contacted by text or phone to reschedule.

Walk in opportunities are available for 1st and 2nd doses for people aged 12 years old and over, 3rd doses for people with a weakened immune system aged 12 years old and over, boosters for people aged 18 years old and over, boosters for people aged 16 and 17 years old who are at high risk from COVID-19 or frontline health and social care workers and boosters for people who have had the 3rd dose for people with a weakened immune system with a letter from their GP or hospital specialist.

Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations opened at the Guttman Centre in January after a successful Christmas and New Year period which saw the sites administer thousands of booster shots.
