Polling stations have opened across Britain as voters cast their ballots in the snap general election.

Now, the politicians have said all they can, the campaigns have come to an end - and polling is open. It is time to have your say.

If you have registered to vote, you can head to your local polling station between 7am and 10pm.

Voters are advised to plan in advance, as previous elections have seen a last-minute rush, with long queues outside polling stations close to closing time.

The Bucks Free Press will be running a live blog from election counts across the county from around 10pm.

Head of Content, Andrew Colley, and Senior Reporter, Stephanie Wareham, will be coming live from Wycombe Leisure Centre as the count begins, while reporter, Shruti Sheth Trivedi, will be live from the South Bucks District Council offices in Denham.

Sports reporter, Nick Tunney, will be keeping you up to date from the Chesham and Amersham constituency count, which takes place at Chesham Leisure Centre.
