A 76-year-old pedestrian had to be airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Chesham.
Just before 3pm on Thursday (August 31) a black Nissan Juke was driving along Blucher Street towards Broadway when it was involved in a crash with an elderly female pedestrian.
The pensioner was airlifted to the John Radcliffe hospital suffering from serious injuries and remains in hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene and was spoken to by police.
Thames Valley Police have just released a witness appeal and urged anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
Investigating officer Sergeant Mark Ashby of Roads Policing said: “We would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, in particular we would like to speak to anyone with any dashcam footage or mobile phone footage of the collision to get in touch with us via 101 quoting URN 771 31/8.”
