A popular annual cheese festival rolled back into town for the seventh year.

Hundreds of revellers flocked to the Beaconsfield Cheese Markers Market at the village green, in Penn Road, on Saturday, where more than 250 cheeses by around 30 makers from around Europe were on offer.

Dubbed “Buckinghamshire’s largest cheeseboard”, the event included cheeses from Portugal, Spain, France and Italy in addition to English, Irish and Scottish cheese makers’ offerings.

Visitors were also treated to number of tastings and demonstrations at the event, including cheese and wine from the south of France and how to create the perfect cheeseboard.
