Talented university students will be hosting a winter fun fair in High Wycombe following a successful first event last year.

First year music and live event management students will bring Winterland back to Bucks New University on Saturday, December 9.

From 2pm to 7pm, the concourse will be transformed into a festive wonderland and will feature live music, funfair rides, inflatables, choirs, food stalls, competitions and Santa’s grotto.

There will be a range of entertainment including live music from the university acapella society and Holmer Green Senior School choir and their rock band.

The funfair will be returning and will include the Ferris wheel, mini carousel, teacups and the chair-o-planes, along with the ever-popular indoor inflatable play zone.

There will also be a range of winter-themed games for all the family, and hot food and drinks will be available.

Student Charlotte Hall said: “Everyone has worked so hard on this event and we really hope our hard work pays off and makes the 9th enjoyable for everyone who comes to see what we’ve done.”

Entry is free but a £5 unlimited ride wristband can be bought on the day and it costs £2 to visit Santa's grotto.
