A popular annual summer holiday club was officially launched in High Wycombe at the weekend.
Lighthouse High Wycombe, a holiday week run by volunteers with the aim of bringing churches and communities together with games, songs and crafts, held its first event on Saturday, February 3.
The launch event, at Trinity Reformed Church on the London Road, welcomed dozens of volunteers who were interested in signing up to take part in this year’s fun summer event.
The Christian summer holiday club started in Great Missenden in 1987 and has since grown, with Lighthouse clubs spreading throughout the county and beyond.
