A Bucks harasser who filled his victim’s front door lock with glue and made a false report about her and her children to social services has been given a restraining order.

Michael Gaymer, aged 25, of Outfield Road in Chalfont St Peter, pleaded guilty to charges of harassment without violence and criminal damage and was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work as punishment.

A hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court heard that between February 1, 2020 and April 30, 2020, Gaymer harassed his victim, sending her unwanted gifts and a letter.

The court heard how he went to her home without her asking him to and put glue in the lock of her front door. He also made a false report to social services about the care of her children.

As well as the unpaid work, which must be completed within a year, Gaymer has also been issued with a restraining order, preventing him from contacting two people.

Gaymer must also pay £100 compensation and £175 costs.

The court also heard how Gaymer committed an act of criminal damage when he filled the front door lock with glue, and after pleading guilty to this offence he was ordered to pay £275 for the damage.
