PLANS to convert a vacant fabric shop to a new restaurant and takeaway have been submitted to the council.

Plans detail the ‘conversion of the ground floor from retail to a mixed-use restaurant and takeaway, with installation of an extractor flue to the rear’.

It is believed the now vacant property was a Just Wright haberdashery.

Drawings suggest the new business could be a Fireaway Pizza.

The new venture will require five full-time employees and two part-time workers.

Opening hours will be 8am-11pm, daily.

The owner, believed to live in London, has been notified.

“The proposal intends to provide a much-needed economic boost to the existing business [in the area] by providing a new restaurant within the parade with seating, thereby attracting patrons from the local community and businesses,” a design and access statement reads.

The applicant is now awaiting a decision from Bucks Council.
