Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Lewis Wing from Middlesbrough moments before the January Transfer Window closed.
The 25-year-old has joined the Chairboys on a deal until the end of the season, after spending the first-half of the campaign on loan at fellow League One rivals, Sheffield Wednesday.
Wing was an unused sub when the two sides met at the end of November, which finished 2-2 at Hillsborough.

Boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “He's a player I’ve admired for a long time.
“He’s got real Championship pedigree and once he became available late in the window, I knew I wanted to bring him to the club.
“We always remain patient to bring in the right players for the right deal and we believe this is a real coup for us.
“He’s a special talent who gives us a big goal threat from midfield and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.”
Prior to signing for Middlesbrough in the summer of 2017 (which was a month after they were relegated from the Premier League), Wing had played Non League football in the North East of England.

In the 2017/18 season, he made 22 appearances for Yeovil Town where he scored three goals, and last year, he played 20 times for Rotherham in the Championship, scoring twice.
One of those appearances was against Wycombe on Easter Monday 2021, which the Chairboys won 3-0 at the New York Stadium.
On his permanent departure, Boro said: "Everyone at MFC wishes Lewis all the best for the future."
