Former Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Dennis Adeniran scored an incredible goal in Sheffield Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Rochdale in the second round of the League Cup.

The 23-year-old, who spent the 2020/21 season with the Chairboys in the Championship, smashed home the Owls’ third of the night from around 30-yards out.

His goal was not the only screamer during the contest, as his teammates in Jaden Brown and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also smashed home from range in their victory.

This is his second goal of the competition this season, with his strike against Sunderland in the first round also being spectacular.

Adeniran played 22 matches in all competitions for Wycombe during their maiden season in the second tier, with 21 of those games being played in the league.
