Wycombe Wanderers winger Sullay Kaikai could leave the club before the end of this month’s transfer window.

The 27-year-old has only featured in 33 matches for the Chairboys since joining from Blackpool in 2021, with the Sierra Leone international starting just nine times in the league since his arrival.

It has been reported that he could be heading north of the county to sign for Buckinghamshire rivals Milton Keynes, but Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth did not confirm or deny the rumours.

Speaking after the club’s 2-0 victory over Oxford United on January 24, he said: “Watch this space.

“Sullay is a great player, but he has probably suffered from the form of McCleary and Mehmeti in front of him.

“If we feel it’s the right thing for Sullay to get game time [elsewhere], we will entertain that.
