Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield has stated his team ‘need to do better at the basics’ following their 3-0 away defeat at Lincoln City.
Three goals across an 18-minute spell in the second period saw the Chairboys fall a straight league match without a win.
As we wait to speak to Matt Bloomfield, he has been in deep conversation with his staff in the away dugout analysing today's performance.

Will be hoping to have a chat with him soon.#Chairboys
The club made three changes to the side that defeated MK in the League Cup four days prior, but throughout the contest in Lincoln, Wanderers were second best and gave three poor goals away.

Speaking on the performance, Bloomfield said: “I’m very disappointed with the way we played in the second half.
“We had a good goal threat in the first half and had a good chance early on.
Will be speaking to Bloomfield very shortly.

A real capitulation after what was a good first half from a defensive perspective.#Chairboys
“We also had a goal disallowed from a free-kick and we were in the ascendancy.
“But I did not see that second half coming and I was so disappointed with the way the goals went in.
“We should have and must defend better.
"I’m bitterly disappointed.

“We felt we were on the front foot, but there are no excuses for the way we gave away three goals like that.

"We can talk about systems, ways of playing and having new faces in, but we need to be better at the basics.
“When we won at Milton Keynes, that’s what we did – we did the basics.”
Wanderers sit 23rd and would be bottom of the League One table if it wasn’t for Wigan Athletic’s -8 point deduction.
