Wycombe Wanderers has signed former Milton Keynes goalkeeper, Franco Ravizzoli on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old joins the Chairboys following his release from the club’s Buckinghamshire rivals where he will challenge Max Stryjek for the number one shirt at Adams Park.

The Argentine has become Matt Bloomfield’s 14th signing of the summer where he will don the number 25 shirt which was last worn by striker, Ali Al-Hamadi.

His move to the south of the county follows the footsteps of his fellow countryman, Sergio Torres, who signed for Wycombe after arriving in England to forge a career in football.

The two teamed up in 2020 at Non League Eastbourne Borough, before moving to MK 12 months later where he played in nine competitive matches across two seasons.

One of these appearances was against Wanderers in the EFL Trophy back in October.

Prior to travelling to England, Ravizzoli was on the books at Independiente, Quilmes and River Plate in his homeland.
