Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield has revealed that his side will have ‘no fresh injuries’ going into this weekend’s fixture against Peterborough United.

The Chairboys have been without David Wheeler, Jason McCarthy, Jack Grimmer and Joe Jacobson in recent weeks, but have won eight of the last 12 matches in all competitions.

The 39-year-old also revealed that some of the absentees have returned to training, but are not quite ready to feature.

He then confirmed that none of the faces that went on international duty returned with any problems.

He told the Free Press: “We’ve got no fresh injury updates.

“We’ve been carrying a few recently but a couple of the boys have come back into training and we’ll see when we can work them back in.

“There are plenty of selection issues for me to work out in the next 48 hours [from Thursday] but we haven’t got any fresh injury concerns.

“We’ve been really pleased with the way we’ve been doing things recently but we want to clean up a few things and get better as it’s always about improving.”
