From the 42,000 that visited Wembley Stadium to watch the EFL Trophy final between Peterborough United and Wycombe Wanderers, roughly 15,000 attended to get behind the Chairboys.
It was the Adams Park side’s third visit to the home of football in five seasons, and although it wasn’t meant to be for the Light and Dark Blue Army under the arch, many left North London feeling optimistic of for the future.
