A fabulous two bedroom cottage in a tucked away position, yet just a short walk from Faringdon's town centre. Requiring some updating and modernisation, this property offers a wonderful opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on it and create a lovely home.

The property is approached via a shared gravelled driveway with a lovely garden area. There is an entrance porch with access into a very good sized dining room. Across the back of the property is the kitchen, which leads to a utility room and cloakroom. This also provides access to a small courtyard area. The ground floor is completed by a delightful sitting room with an inglenook fireplace and gas wood burning stove.

On the first floor there are two large double bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also ample boarded loft space with a fitted pull down ladder.

AMENITIES The historic market town of Faringdon, dating back at least to the 12th century, has a thriving community and amenities such as the Leisure Centre, Library, Faringdon Community College, Junior and Infant schools as well as The Old Station Nursery, doctors' and dentists' surgeries and a Family Centre. Buses travel from the town to private schools at Abingdon.

The Tower on Folly Hill was built by Lord Berners in 1935 and affords panoramic views across four counties. For over 20 years, the town has been twinned with Le Mêle-sur-Sarthe in France and in 2004, Faringdon became the first Fairtrade town in the South East of England. The town is served by the Stagecoach 66 bus which runs a frequent service from Swindon to Oxford and back. The town is also ideally positioned for the A420, leading to the A34, M40 and M4 and mainline railway services from Swindon, Oxford and Didcot Parkway.
