How long have you been coming here? Since I moved here about six months ago. I only live across the road.

How often do you come here? A couple of times a week- probably three or four times.

What do you usually drink? A pint of beer. There is a good selection of beer, which is always changing. It is good to try something new.

What do you like about the pub? It doesn't matter what time of day you go in, there is always a smile on the faces of the staff. The atmosphere is brilliant- you can't fault it at all. The staff are brilliant- they are always willing to have a chat and are very welcoming. It is a nice country pub. I eat there more or less every time I got in there. I have never had a bad meal there.

Do you think pubs still have a place in today's society? Definitely I think pubs are the hub of the community. Everyone comes for dinner and have a chat and a drink. In the countryside they are especially important as it provides a place for people to meet. The landlady, Alice, is fantastic- I couldnt' think of a better person.

Is The Pink and Lily your local? What do you love about it?
