A COMPETITION to find Buck's Young Pop Star will be held on Sunday (August 1) in Aylesbury. Under 21s will sing and dance onstage with a professional sounds system in front of music industry experts. HAMILTON School has won the Wycombe Swan Panto Junior Journalists Competition. In September two children from the school will attend the press launch of this year’s Panto Peter Pan at LegoLand, joined by Eastenders Steve McFadden who is playing Captain Hook. TWO volunteers are needed to support a beekeeping project at Hughenden Manor which will tell visitors the story of beekeeping. The honey will be harvested and sold at the site shop. Training will be provided by the High Wycombe & District Beekeeping Association course expected to start in February with six two hour evening sessions followed by a ‘practical’ day in April/ May.
