THE 17 piece Kenton Jazz Orchestra will make its first appearance at Marlow Jazz Club on Tuesday, April 12 which the club regard as a major booking.

The band was formed by trumpeter Jim Barton and he has attracted some top British jazzmen. The line-up usually includes Enrico Tomasso on trumpet, and saxophonist Tracey Mendham . DRIVE in Movies are returning to Great Missenden on May 13. The idea is organised by the youth project, Connect 4 Youth, which provides activities for young people for young people in the area. Money raised from the event will go towards continuing to support the groups activities including the movies.

It will go the Playzone Motor Project, Playzone, Girls Chillzone, Open Doors Youth Breakfast, Community Football, Boxing and BMX Playzone.

The 2011 dates are May 13 with Mamma Mia and 14 with Despicable Me at 9pm, June 10 and 11 at 9pm and July 15 and 16 at 9pm.

Gates will be open 30 minutes before showing at the Deep Mill Diner in London Road, Great Missenden.

It is £10 per car and pay on the day. You can also order food at the diner with the last food orders at 9.45pm.
