Christmas in the Village
This will include the switching on of Christmas lights, carols and music and some light refreshments.  The aim is to bring the village together.  The Lane End Players will present a Mummer's Play, and Lane End Primary School children will sing.

Bledlow Ridge Christmas Fayre

Ho, Ho, Ho-liday fun at Eden, High Wycombe
Families can enjoy a ride around the Centre on Santa’s Express train, with special Christmas boarding platforms outside Starbucks and Bhs and on-board entertainment from the driver and his mischievous crew. In addition, Santa and his special toy-making elves will be in his grotto meeting all the boys and girls. The Santa Express will be running from 11am to 5pm daily and includes a stop to see Santa and Mrs Claus’ free grotto. Parents have the opportunity to purchase photos of the children with Santa. South Bucks Hospice light switch-on
Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry will be turning on the hospice garden lights. The Wycombe Music Centre Youth Choir will be singing carols. The choir are an extremely distinguished group having performed at prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall and will be singing plenty of your Christmas favourites throughout the evening. Stay warm with a delicious mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine amongst other refreshments that will be available throughout the evening.There is no entry fee, however the Hospice does ask you make a small donation on arrival which will go straight towards the cost of helping to provide the expert care the Hospice offers every day. George Breakfast at The Drawing Room
George Breakfast has recorded a number of albums, and his songs have been performed and recorded by artists on both sides of the Atlantic. When asked what kind of music he plays, he will reply Kayajingo. He will go on to explain that the term was coined by a friend, the great Neil Thomas, to cover the mix of folk, country, blues, swing /jazz, rock and roll etc. that they like to play. On The Radar

Annual Christmas Services
Each service will include readings and music with mulled wine and mince pies being served. The family services will take place at 11am and 1pm and the carol service at 3pm. Santa will be at the park throughout the day to greet the children, offering them a Christmas gift before the service begins. All proceeds from the day will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Being held in the stunning woodland setting of the Woodland Hall it is just £5 per ticket to attend, with children under two welcome for free.

Carols on the Causeway
Hundreds of children will carry Christmas lanterns through the town on their way to the carol singing event in the early evening.  Schoolchildren are making their own lantern at school, and bringing it into the town, congregating in the early evening around the Christmas tree before the carol singing starts. Each of six local schools will nominate its best three lanterns to be judged by Marlow Town Mayor, and the nominees and winners of the award for the best lantern will be announced on the night. After the prize giving there’ll be carol singing with members of the Choral Society around the Christmas tree, accompanied by Marlow Town Band, at approximately 7pm. Mulled Wine and mince pies will be available and Marlow Rotary Club will be providing hot chestnuts.
