FRESH from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Lee Nelson Live is coming to Norden Farm in Maidenhead on September 8 at 8pm. Tickets are £15 and suitable for ages 14+. The happy-go-lucky chav is the creation of comedian Simon Brodkin, and has started a second series on BBC3. He is known for his cheeky banter and tales of birds and booze. SPICE things up at a Chilli Festival at Waddesdon Plant Centre Courtyard this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. This year there will be more than 30 stalls offering plants, seeds, chutneys, jams and more. There will also be live music. Admission is free. Normal admission charges apply to Waddesdon Manor and Grounds. The next weekend on September 15 to 16 there is an Apple and Autumn Fruits Food Fair at the centre from 10am-4pm.

A FREE open air classical concert, Proms in the Park, will start is this Saturday in Aylesbury from 6.30pm in Vale Park. It is organised by Aylesbury Town Council and is part of a weekend of free, fun activities for all ages in the park. The Aylesbury Concert Band will be headed by conductor, Robert Wicks, with soprano Jill Neenan. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic. The concert starts at 7.15pm. BARONESS Ann Mallalieu will be talking about her busy life as a farmer and shepherdess in The Chilterns and on Exmoor, as Queen's Counsel, President of the Countryside Alliance and as a member of the House of Lords in Bradenham. The Friends of St Botolph's are hosting the evening to raise money for the maintenance for the 1000 year old church. The title of the evening is 'So much to do, so little time.” The evening starts at the church on September 9 at 7.30pm. AYLESBURY Vale District Council has teamed up with Reactive Bucks, British Cycling and Sky to run Sky Ride Local bike rides every Sunday until the end of October.  These free led bike rides take place all over Aylesbury Vale and are 3 to 30 miles in length.  British Cycling trained leaders will guide you around the routes.  To find a route suitable for you check out www.goskyride.com/aylesbury
