TUFFNEY Performing Arts Academy is celebrating after its Youth Dance Company team won first place in the Street Dance Championships in Disneyland Paris. The group of dancers from aged 12 to 18 went to the International Festival of Dance and Performing Arts from October 7 to 10. It was funded by the council and was free for the kids to go. BBC DJ Mark Radcliffe will be performing songs and telling anecdotes from his career at Norden Farm on December 1 at 8pm. He is well known for being one half of Mark and Lard, who were on Radio 1 from 1993 to 2004. He now broadcasts an afternoon show, five days a week, on BBC 6 Music with Stuart Maconie.
