A revival of the musical Fiddler On The Roof staged by former Royal Shakespeare Company artistic director Sir Trevor Nunn has been announced at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory theatre.
Previews of the production will begin on November 23 ahead of opening night on December 5. The show will run until March 9.
Fiddler On The Roof is known for songs including Sunrise, Sunset; If I Were A Rich Man; and Matchmaker, Matchmaker.
Nunn directed more than 30 productions as the youngest ever artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, a role he held from From 1968 to 1986.
The last production of Fiddler On The Roof in the capital opened at the Savoy Theatre in May 2007 and starred Henry Goodman as its protagonist, Tevye the milkman.
Public bookings for Fiddler On The Roof at the Menier open on September 5.
