Police investigate criminal damage after alleged shotgun attack leaving family "fearing for their lives".

CCTV footage captured a man walking up to a house in Allanson Road, Marlow carrying what looks like a shotgun with a 7-year-old boy and his grandparents inside.

After a bright flash on the video the man is seen running out of the gate and back down the street at around 10:20pm on June 15.

It has been confirmed that a window to the property was smashed.

The young boy is now undergoing counselling with residents describing this as an "unprovoked attack".

The police have not been able to confirm if a firearm was used to not.

A spokesman said: “Thames Valley Police is investigating a report of criminal damage which took place in Allanson Road, Marlow, at around 10.20pm on 15 June.

“A window to a property was smashed. An investigation is ongoing, however at this time there is currently no indication that a firearm was used.

“No arrests have been made in connection with this investigation.

“Anyone with information would be asked to make a report, quoting reference 43210263294.”
