Small businesses in Beaconsfield Old Town are worried that "poorly planned" could put them on the brink of bankruptcy.
Car parking spaces will be limited for five weeks as pavement roadworks take place on London End.

There will be 10 to 15 parking bays out of action as the roadworks take place each day leaving shopkeepers worried it will detur away potential customers.
This comes after being closed for months due to Covid-19 restrictions and only recently able to reopen.

A spokesman for Buckinghamshire council said that the council is mindful of the disruption these works may cause but insisted they are part of planned essential work.
Steve Broadbent, Cabinet Member for Transport said: “The duration of the work is scheduled to be for five weeks but will be carried out in sections in order to minimise impact.

“The parking suspensions will only apply to the immediate area where the work is being undertaken and will change as the work progresses.
“This means that only a limited number of parking bays will be suspended each day.”
The roadworks are set to begin on June 28 and finish on August 2.
