A LORRY driver was killed on the M25 yesterday after colliding with a bridge support.
The motorway was closed for seven hours on the anticlockwise stretch between junctions 17, Maple Cross, and 16, for the M40, while the collision was investigated by police.
The accident happened just after 1pm when a white DAF truck collided with an overbridge parapet.
Thames Valley Police has today launched an appeal for witnesses after the death of the 51-year-old driver. Anyone with any information about the incident should contact PC Nick Brown on 101.
