IT has been confirmed an air ambulance did land in High Wycombe last night.
Robert Downham, spokesman for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust, said an air ambulance landed at around 5.50pm.
However, he said the air ambulance did not land on The Rye, but could not confirm where, and said it could have been nearby.
He said: "A 50-year-old man had quite a nasty fall. We had a doctor on board.
"We did air lift him to the John Radcliffe Hospital."
