A YOGA teacher from Marlow is planning to use the ancient discipline to generate funds for her son’s school theatre.
Alexandra Alves, is inviting people to her free event ‘Yoga by Candlelight’ on Saturday, March 15, Which takes place at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School on West Street.
The instructor, whose 15-year-old son attends the school, plans to raise money for Borlase’s Above and Beyond fund, which is seeking cash to refurbish the theatre at the performing arts academy.
Home secretary Theresa May could be one of those taking part after signalling an interest in the event, which will see participants practice yoga by candlelight, with piano accompaniment.
