WOOBURN Green residents raised £660 for a local churchyard fund after making over 200 pancakes, this week.
Organisers of the event made over 200 pancakes and served tea, coffee and fruit juice.
The event held on Shrove Tuesday, March 4 was in aid of Cores End United End Reformed Church, churchyard.
Organiser, Dorothy Aiken of Wooburn Green, said: "The event was great fun. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Hopefully every Shrove Tuesday we shall have a Pancake Day in aid of the church yard."
Around 80 people attended the event to help raise in excess of £660, to help maintain the area.
