MARLOW’s Higginson Park will be transformed into a traditional French market over the May bank holiday weekend.
Marlow Town Council’s popular venture returns next month after Wycombe District Council gave the go-ahead despite fears the ground would not have recovered from February’s floods.
Open between 9am and 5pm on May 3, 4 and 5, the French Market offers a range of produce including bread, croissants, cheeses, fruit and vegetables as well as crafts and beauty products.
Marlow has a long tradition of Anglo-French relations, with regular exchange trips tak,ing place between Marlovians and twin town town Marly-le-Roi near Paris.
