A NEW charity shop was officially opened in Beaconsfield last week.
The new Iain Rennie store on Penn Road was officially opened by the charities outgoing Director of Retail and Trading on Thursday, May 22.
Lesley Blencowe, who was attending her last opening before she retires, cut the ribbon with Operations Manager, Phil Moody.
The store has taken the vacant shop from Fun Junction, who recently moved to Flackwell Heath, replacing an Iain Rennie store there.
Ms Blencowe said: “We’ve been looking for a better location for our Beaconsfield shop for some time, so I am so pleased that we have managed to make this happen before I retire.
“The new shop is much larger which means that we can carry even more good quality stock.
“It has been a great privilege to work for such a marvellous charity for the last ten years and to work with such a lovely and dedicated team of people.
“I never cease to be amazed by how generous our supporters are and by how much time our volunteers are prepared to give.”
The new shop will be open from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
