THE Easton Street car-park will be refurbished this summer, Wycombe District Council has announced.
Levels nine to 12 of the multi-storey car-park will be closed from June 30 before the entire car-park is then shut on July 30 for three weeks.
Work on the car-park, which was built in 1972, will included structural repairs, waterproofing and re-lining of the parking bays.
Meanwhile, the roll-out of the Automated Number Plate Recognition system across WDC’s car-park has continued.
The pay-and-display Desborough Road and Swan Theatre car-parks were converted to the new system this week.
Just three WDC-owned car-parks will remain pay-and-display once the ANPR roll-out has been completed by the end of August.
They are; the Wycombe Sports Centre car-park in High Wycombe, and Riley Road and Dean Street car-parks in Marlow.
