CHILDREN from a school in Gerrards Cross took to the track to raise more than £1000 for a national charity.
Taking part in a mini-triathlon pupils and staff at Thorpe House School ran, swam and cycled to raise £1200 for Beating Bowel Cancer.
The day was organised by Thorpe House Director of Sport, Sean Day, who along with friends has raised more than £7000 for the charity since his best friend died last year.
Mr Day said: “The boys at Thorpe love getting involved in charity fundraisers so as Director of Sport I decided to organise a Thorpe House School Triathlon and ask the families at Thorpe to help fund raise for this very worthwhile charity.”
