MORE than £20,000 was raised at the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Late Summer Show in Saunderton.
Thousands of visitors went to the annual event on Sunday where there was live music, a static bird of prey display, a vintage car exhibit and entertainment from the High Wycombe Cheerleading Academy.
There was a fun dog show where canines competed for the title of Waggiest Tail and Best Doggie Trick, as judged by Judy Puddifoot from BBC’s Young Vets.
Spectators were wowed by demonstrations from the Hearing Dogs Display Team in the main arena.
Michele Jennings, chief executive, said: "We were delighted to welcome thousands of supporters to The Grange on Sunday for a fantastic day of family fun. We have raised over £20,000, and we would like to thank everybody who helped to make the event such a huge success.
"All funds raised from the Late Summer Show will help Hearing Dogs for Deaf People train more life-changing hearing dogs to change the lives of people who suffer with hearing loss."
The charity does not receive any government funding and relies solely on the generosity of supporters to continue its life-changing work.
The next Hearing Dogs event at The Grange in Saunderton will be the festive Christmas Market on November 28 and 29.
