A RETAIL stalwart in Princes Risborough has changed its name and had a refurbishment.
David Shuttle in Duke Street is now called The Elephant's Trunk following a competition to name the shop.
Mr Shuttle, 62, said: "We held a competition for the best name. The logo is a grey elephant and in his trunk he has a gift and hanging off his tail is a frying pan, as we are a gifts and cookware shop."
The shop has been in the town for 14 years. He had another branch in Beaconsfield which he has handed over to his son, Joseph, 31.
The official opening is on September 25. They are looking for the oldest resident in Risborough to step forward and cut the ribbon. Call 01844 273388.
