Decision utterly undemocratic.
Wycombe District Council – five reserve sites up for grabs in the decision making forum of eight councillors, not the full council.
I am aggrieved that the BFP never printed the letter I wrote concerning Wycombe Wanderers’ new stadium and leisure facilities at Booker. My concerns were over the clarification of how many councillors were eligible to vote, how many able to vote, how many excluded from voting. It then followed resignations and a new chairperson.
Six weeks later in the BFP, counterproposal Handy Cross sports park and leisure facilities.
I have strong suspicions of history repeating itself.
I am partially sighted, a Wycombe Wanderers supporter for 60 years.
I’m extremely angry with missed opportunities and the stigma left with Wycombe Wanderers and The Wasps.
Crocodile tears WDC, economists who watch their coffers shrink at the departure of the Wasps.
It’s not only me partially sighted. – Eddie Ball, Booker
