Two teenagers were stabbed during a fight in a notorious High Wycombe alleyway yesterday afternoon.

At around 4.45pm on Saturday, police were called to a report that there had been a fight in Birdcage Walk between four teenage boys and two had sustained minor stab wounds.

One 17-year-old from High Wycombe suffered a wound to his abdomen and a second 17-year-old, also from High Wycombe, sustained an injury to his hand.

Both attended hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

The alleyway, which runs parallel to High Wycombe Station, has seen a number of assaults in recent years, including a violent robbery against a 31-year-old man last year.

Officers believe the suspects ran off towards Saffron Road and Queens Road.

Police said there were people in the area, including dog walkers, who may have seen them and are calling for any witnesses to come forward.

If you have any information about this incident and have not yet come forward then please contact Detective Constable Carl Wilson via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
